2018 TG4 All-Ireland Junior Championship winning manager steps down from Limerick role

John Ryan has chosen to step down as manager of the Limerick ladies football team at the end of the 2019 season.

During his two-year spell at the helm, John presided over a TG4 All-Ireland Junior title, as well as appearances in the Lidl National Football League Division 4 semi-finals in both 2018 and 2019.

Limerick LGFA wish to thank John for his service, for the tireless work put in by both him, his management team and the players, and for being part of the amazing year in sport that was Limerick 2018.

His work as a manager, and as an ambassador for the game, went above and beyond anything that could have been asked of him, and it is with regret that we have decided to accept his resignation.

We wish John the best of luck in his future endeavours.
