AGM of Provincial Council of Britain Details

On Sunday at Pairc na hEireann Birmingham the Annual General Meeting of the Provincial Council of Britain Ladies Gaelic Football took place

At the meeting the fixtures were set out for the year, with the Provincial Intercounty final fixed for London on 21/22 June, London will play the winners of Lancashire/ Warwickshire.
The club junior championship dates were also fixed, with nine clubs taking part, the opening round played on 12/13 April, with a repeat of last years final Holloway Gaels v John Mitchells Liverpool, to take place in Birmingham, whist Birmingham John Mitchels host  newcomers Fulham Irish.
the provincial 9 a side is scheduled for May 3rd at Holly lane Erdington
All outgoing officers were returned with the exception of Vicky Blagriff, who stood down as secretary and was replace by Debra McDaid from Liverpool’s Jon Mitchel’s, Vicky stayed on as assistant secretary.
Congratulations were offered to John Mitchel’s of Liverpool on winning Lancashire and British championships in their first full year and also to London ladies on a fantastic achievement of reaching the All Ireland Junior final.
