All-Ireland Schools U-16 B Final Report

Inver College Carrickmacross failed in their attempt
to win the All Ireland U16 title as they lost to Colaiste Dun Iascagh
(Cahir) 3-7 to 0-10. 

The Monaghan side led at the break 0-10 to 1-4. Former Ulster
young player of the year Catriona Mc Connell fired over seven
points while for the Tipperary side full forward Ann Marie Mc
Gorman scored the goal. Ten minutes into the second half and another
goal from Mc Gorman had levelled matters and the full forward
completed her hat-trick in the final quarter to help her side
to a six point win.

Inver College struggled in the heat and could only manage a single
point in the second period.
