TYRONE
SEASON STARTING SOON

SEASON UP AND RUNNING THIS WEEK

The Ladies domestic season gets underway this
week with the Tyrone minor league starting the
ball rolling, however for some clubs it may be
a case of wait and see as the rule to have all
fees and fines paid in time for the commencement
of competitive football is set to be enforced
this year. Indeed several clubs are in that bracket
and this could mean fixtures not being played.
The hope is though by the weekend all fee and
fine issues will have been resolved.

There’s fifteen games pencilled in to get the
domestic season started and they have all 7pm
throw in’s………………………..

Grade 1 Round One Thurs 31-March An Charraig

with County registrar Martina Dillon by 24-3-05
can not take part in the opening round of games
this coming Thursday**

The Tyrone Under 16s continue their campaign away
to Cavan on Monday evening, while the Minors open
the Ulster Championship season with a local derby
against the talented Fermanagh at home on Tuesday
at 5.30pm. The Fermanagh side no doubt boosted
by the counties first schools all Ireland title
secured this week by Mount Lourdes, several players
included in both panels, Tyrones Caroline McGrath
and Mickey Haughey have been happy with their
preparations but would like to get off to a winning
start.
