Carlow Ladies solve it sponsorship dilemma

Carlow ladies football has solved its sponsorship dilemma for 2003. We have approached one hundred companies. Where each of them will give us 100 euro, we put all the names into a hat and the National president geraldine giles has agreed to draw the name from the hat. First out of the hat becomes our main sponsor for the next 12 months, it couldn’t be easier. Follow me up to carlow

Sinead Lyons wins the Ulsterbank Carlow Ladies Footballer of the Month

Sinead lyons has been named as the inaugral Ulsterbank carlow ladies footballer of the month .lyons was presented with her march award by carlow ulster bank manager Maura O keefe.

Lyons produced some super performances for her club Bennekerry/Tinryland and for Carlow in the under 14 leinster championship. The April award winner will be announced on the first tuesday in May.
