LEINSTER CHAMPIONSHIP: Dublin Under-14s and Under-16 both beat Kildare last Saturday in their final round robin Leinster championship game. The Dublin Under-14s won a hard fought close game by 3-09 to Kildares 3-06. Dublins goal scorers were Natalia Hyland, Sinéad Cullen and Deborah Geraghty. The Dublin under-16s had a comprehensive victory over Kildare winning by a sixteen point margin, final score Dublin 3-18 Kildare 2-05. Best for Dublin were Tara Carolan, Andrea Bowe and Lynsey Davey. Both Dublin sides have come through all their Leinster round robin games unbeaten and have now qualified for the semi finals of the Leinster championship their opposition will be determined by other results with the Leinster semi finals for both categories pencilled in for May 1st. SUZUKI LADIES NATIONAL LEAGUE: There was mixed results for the Dublin senior A and B teams in Sundays Suzuki Ladies National League, the senior A team gave a poor display against an inform Galway side and as a result failed to make it passed the quarter final stage of the National league, final score Dublin 1-03 Galway 3-14. The Dublin B had a better result away to Waterford B in a hard fought game Dublin came away win a three point win which should see the B team qualify for the quarter final stage of the Suzuki Ladies National league. Dublin B 2-08 Waterford B 2-05. The division 3B quarter finals are down for Easter Sunday April 11th. LADIES REFEREES COURSE: A ladies referees course will take place on Thursday the 8th of April at 7.30pm in Parnell Park. The course will cover the basic rules of ladies Gaelic football along new rules / rule changes since Congress. Anyone interested in taking up refereeing ladies Gaelic football are welcome to attend along with existing referees who will be updated fully on rule changes. Dublin Ladies County Board would like to see more female referees officiating our games and would like clubs to encourage their adult players to attend this course. OUTSTANDING MONIES: A list of clubs who owe money to the Dublin Ladies County Board was distributed to all clubs at last months County Committee meeting, amounts due must be paid ASAP. INCREASE IN REGISTRATION FEES: Leinster Council registration fees have been increased by 1.00; the decision to increase the registration fee was decided at a meeting of Leinster Council last month. DUBLIN CLUB SCENE: The Dublin club season commences this Wednesday March 31st clubs are asked to co-operated fully with all the Fixtures Co-ordinators and text, ring in their results. All clubs should have received their Juvenile and Adult league fixtures which were e-mailed to all clubs last Wednesday (March 24th) if any club has not received their fixtures please contact Philip Brady 086-8156224 or Patricia Monahan 087-6128368. Fixtures will be printed each week in the Evening Herald and the Star newspapers. REGISTRATIONS: Clubs who have player registrations and or entry fees are advised not to post them until the current postal dispute is over therefore they should contact David McCabe 087-2199934 to make alternative arrangements, clubs should not play any players unless they verify with David McCabe that their registrations are in order and have been received by the national registrar in Croke Park. APOLOGIES TO FOXROCK: In last weeks notices it stated that Naomh Olaf had won the 2003 Minor championship however it should be noted that it was a combined Naomh Olaf / Foxrock team who won the minor championship and minor league titles of 2003.
