All the latest Dublin ladies news The Dublin senior team under new team manager John O’Leary began their Suzuki National League campaign last Sunday February 1st with a fine win over old rivals Meath, final score Dublin 2-05, Meath 0-09. Round Two of the Suzuki National League takes place this Sunday the 8th of February. Dublin seniors play Laois at 2.00pm while the Dublin Juniors taking on Wexford at 12.45pm, both of these games will take place in Na Fianna’s club grounds on Mobhi Road and not O’Toole Park as originally advertised. The matches on February 8th will be Dublin’s only home games this season in the National League. Admission 5.00 Adults, Students 3.00, Juveniles U/14 free. Clubs are requested to bring along as many of their players and members on the 8th of February to encourage and support our County Teams. A number of clubs have failed to return the club questionnaire forms for this coming season, the final closing date for the return of the club questionnaire will be Thursday the 12th of February clubs who fail to comply will not be considered for inclusion in this season’s fixtures master-plan. Please use the SAE which was enclosed with each form and return to County Secretary Patricia Monahan. Dublin Minor Trials continue this weekend, venue TBA; Clubs are requested to send their players who would be of an appropriate standard to the trials. The Dublin County Board is particularly keen to try to increase the number of female officials currently taking charge of club games and would appeal to former players and adult players to consider the option of becoming match officials. The closing date for acceptance of Inter Club transfers, Player Regarding requests, Guest Player requests and Exemption from fixtures (state exams) is Tuesday the 3rd of February.
