Are you a current or former inter-county player who would like to become a Youth Sport Trust (YST) Athlete Mentor?

ATHLETE MENTOR CONTRACT: APRIL 2019 – JULY 2020

PAY RATE: £305 PER DAY / £230 PER HALF DAY (EQUIVALENT IN EUROS)

The Youth Sport Trust (YST) is looking for current or retired players from across Ireland to join its Athlete Mentor team.

Through The Youth Sport Trust’s partnership with Lidl, and the wider partnership with the LGFA supporting Ladies Gaelic Football, mentors will work on the new #SeriousSupport programme.

Successfully piloted in the Autumn of 2018, the programme aims to reduce the drop-off rate in sport participation amongst girls 11-14. As an Athlete Mentor you will visit schools, sharing your personal experiences as a successful player and deliver workshops to young people that explore the value of participating in sport and the role of healthy eating and physical activity in our overall wellbeing and life chances.
