Boost for French teams as Anjou Gaels host FUNdamentals course in Angers

On Saturday October 27th 2018, the Anjou Gaels Club hosted a FUNdamentals Ladies Gaelic Football course in Stade Paul Robin in Angers in France.

The Club was founded in 2015, in the city of Angers in the west of France. LGFA tutor Eileen Jennings delivered the course to 16 French nationals representing the Clubs of Brest, Niort, Azur Nice, Mondeveville (Caen), Clermont Ferrand, Toulouse, Paris, Angers and Rennes.

The newly qualified coaches were hugely enthusiastic and enjoyed the hands on course and will be involved in the coaching of the adult, youth and French National ladies Gaelic football teams going forward.

A big thank you to Anjou Gaels club President Sinead Riordan for facilitating the organisation and making this day happen.
