Bord Gais Energy National League Round 2

Armagh Ladies continue their league campaign when they travel to Donegal this weekend when they take on last years Division 2 finalists. The Orchard girls will be determined to get back to winning ways following a one goal defeat to Kerry last weekend.

Although Armagh were on the wrong end of a shock defeat to the Tir Chonaill girls the last time around they will hold no fear going into this game. Armagh are working with a very strong panel so every player will be trying to stake a claim for a permanent place in the starting line up. They were stung by last weekends home defeat and should come out with all guns blazing to get their first league points on the board.

Donegal will also be coming out with a point to prove however. Having been promoted from Division 2 last year, their top flight campaign got off to the worst possible start when they were on the receiving end of a 7-12 to 1-05 hammering from Laois last weekend. They will be out to prove they can mix it with the best starting with a home victory. Although Donegal have a depleted side due to many players studying in England, with players like Nora Stapleton in their ranks they will still pose a stern test. Armagh should still have enough strength in depth to emerge victorious though and get the points on the board.
