It is well documented that there is a significant drop off in the number of players playing sport in their teenage years. Clubs have invested lots of time in bringing players through the grades only to lose them when they reach their teens.

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association is piloting a new programme that will help clubs to retain these players that are so important for their clubs and prevent them from drifting away. We are pleased to announce the Gaelic4Teens initiative and we are inviting clubs to take part in our pilot of the programme.
