Carnacon were the shock losers in the TESCO Homegrown All Ireland Club Championships as the Mayo champions and defending All Ireland Champions lost out to Galway’s Kilkerrin/Clonberne who had too much in the end as they caused a huge upset to dethrone the champions. Young Galway star, Olivia Divilly was the pick of the bunch for the new champions as she was named Player of the Match. Clonbur, also from Galway, were the eventual winners of the Intermediate Championship as they disposed of St. Michael’s from Sligo and St. Ciaran’s from Roscommon claimed the Junior title after defeating Charlestown from Mayo. There were also finals in Leinster where Dee Rangers of Meath became the Leinster Junior Champions and Dublin’s Kilmacud Crokes were the victors in the TESCO Homegrown Leinster Intermediate championship.
