Cavan Ladies County Convention

Cavan Ladies County Convention

Cavan Ladies held their AGM on Thursday last in
the Farnham Hotel. There are no major committee
changes for the year ahead. The Chairwoman thanked
everyone for their help in her first year in charge.
2004 had again been a good year with three of
the teams contesting Ulster finals. The U-14’s
were victorious, whilst the Juniors and Minors
were unfortunate not to win. She congratulated
fellow executive member John Joe Brady on the
immense honor he received when he was asked to
Aras An Uachtarain by President Mary McAleese
for the contribution made to Irish sporting life
for over 25 years. She also praised the inter-provincial
players and Emer Reilly from Mullahoran for their
success in 2004. Finally she wished everyone a
