Ciara Murphy- The Croke Park Player of the Month for March

Ciara Murphy was announced as the recipient of The Croke Park Player of the Month award for March. Ciara was selected after playing a captain’s role for UCD as they claimed the O’Connor Cup in John Mitchell’s Tralee.

The dynamic wing back was a consistent threat to opposing defences as she consistently raided forwarded from the flank of the UCD defence whilst also being a fantastic defender and consistently breaking up opposition attacks.

 

Ciara is an accomplished inter county player with her native county, Kerry and is hoping to become a fully qualified physio when she finishes her final year of physiotherapy in UCD.

 

Ciara is the first recipient of the Croke Park Player of the Month Award in 2016. The award is presented each month to a player that has had an outstanding impact on the matches in which she had played.
