Claire Egan is Croke Park Hotel Player of the Month

Claire Egan rounded off a memorable 2013 by being named as the Croke Park Hotel Player of the Month for December. The Carnacon club player was one of the key players in the Mayo side’s TESCO Homegrown Senior All Ireland Club Final victory over Donaghmoyne.

Her outstanding work rate and defensive awareness were vital as Carnacon kept Donaghmoyne at bay in the closing minutes of the match as Carnacon clung to a slender 1 point lead.
