The ‘May Steele’ fourth annual Ladies Invitation Sevens

Sat 2nd August. The competition was once again an outstanding
success with 18 teams providing a tremendous day of football

The 18 teams which took part in the competition were divided

then played-off on a league basis at four venues in Castlewellan
and Annsborough thus guaranteeing each participating team
a minimum of 3 games. The group winners and runners-up then
progressed to play the quarter, semi-final and final in
the host Club’s St Malachy’s Park on a knockout basis.
