Clare Ladies Football Challenge Result

Clare 3 – 8 Meath 1 – 6

Clare had a very satisfactory trip to Ratoath, Co. Meath on Saturday
and Deirdre Murphy’s charges scored a good win over an understrength
Meath team. As this was the Clare outfit’s first game of the season
all concerned with the team will be happy with the day’s work.

A total of 25 players got runs in this game with some newcomers
to the panel catching the eye. Next weekend Clare will play Mary
Immaculate College of Limerick as the team increases the preparatory
tempo ahead of the Suzuki league opener against Limerick in early
February.

Training continues in the Coláiste Muire Hall at 8.00pm on
Thursday
