CONFIRMED: TG4 All-Ireland intermediate/senior quarter-final and semi-final details

THE race for glory in the TG4 All-Ireland intermediate and senior championships is hotting up.

We’re down to the quarter-final stages in both competitions, with key fixtures down for decision over the next four weekends, before the September 16 finalists are confirmed.

Next Saturday, at Healy Park in Omagh (4.0), Armagh and Donegal will battle it out for the first available semi-final spot in the senior championship.

On the same day, and in the intermediate championship, Tyrone and Wexford will contest the first of the four quarter-finals.

Attention switches on Monday to the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick, with Sligo taking on Wicklow in the intermediate quarter-final (3.0), followed the senior quarter-final meeting of Cork and Westmeath (4.45pm).

The remaining two intermediate quarter-finals – Clare v Meath and Roscommon v Laois – will be played on the weekend of August 11/12.

On Sunday, August 12, the remaining two senior quarter-finals will form part of a televised double-header.

Mayo and Galway lock horns at 3pm, followed by a 5pm throw-in time for the Dublin-Kerry clash.

The LGFA is also in a position to confirm its LIVE TG4 coverage of the All-Ireland intermediate and senior semi-finals.

The first intermediate semi-final will be screened LIVE on Saturday, August 18 at 4pm, followed by the first senior semi-final at 5.45pm.

A week later, Saturday August 25, the identities of the remaining intermediate and senior finalists will be known.

The second intermediate semi-final will throw in at 3pm, followed by the second senior semi-final at 4.45pm.

Again, both games will be screened LIVE by TG4.
