Cork Ladies Football 30th Anniversary

PCork Ladies Football 30th Anniversary

Officers were Honoured At a very pleasant function
at the Castle Hotel in Macroom officers who have guided Ladies football
in the Co for 30 years. The idea, brainchild of former Chairman
Francis Quill, was very much appeciated by those who turned up to
receive their specially commissioned scrolls from the the National
President Geraldine Giles, who travelled from Westmeath for the
occasion.

The 30th aviiversary cake was cut, by the founding Chairman Tommy
Tucker of Ballydaly and current treasurer Mary Power. The President
congratulated all involved and siad it was fitting that the Brendan
Martin cup had come to the County for the first time in the past
year, after Cork’s numerous successes at underage level.

brining the Co to such a high level. The following turned up on
the night to receive thier recognition. Tommy Tucker, Eugene O’Sullivan,
