Corofin go down to St Brendans

Corofin were narrowly defeated by St Brendan’s last Thursday in the under 16 League, it proved to be a very entertaining game with only three points dividing them in the end.

In the Connacht senior League semi-final Corofin take on Hollymount of Mayo next Saturday evening at 5.00 o’clock in Hollymount. This is a repeat of the previous two years finals when the spoils were divided. Hollymount, 2001 and Corofin, 2002. This should be a very interesting encounter and all support will be welcomed.

Congratulations to Galway B Ladies team who have reached the All Ireland Division 3 Final when they defeated Derry Last Sunday in Grange County Sligo on a score line of 8-08 to 2-05 managed by Corofin’s Pat Gleeson and Michael Ryder. Well done to the nine players from Corofin who form part of the panel!

The final will be played on May 11th at a venue to be decided.
