05 May 2009 DLGA - Weekly Update Share this Article 0 0 0 Shares! 0 Shares! DLGA – Weekly Update Well done to all involved in the Everbuild 2009 Féile Atha Cliath which was a splendid success. Many thanks to the clubs who hosted the competition, namely, Ballyboden St. Enda’s, Cuala and St. Sylvesters. A special word of thanks to Ballyboden for hosting the semi-finals and finals on Sunday last. A special mention too for Lucan Sarsfields and Clanna Gael-Fontenoy who provided pitches at the last minute to facilitate the smooth running of the event. Thanks to the co-ordinators, officials, management teams and players for their part in making it such a tremendous success. Congratulations to Ballyboden St. Enda’s on winning Division 1 of the Féile and St. Brigid’s on winning Division 2. Both clubs will now represent Dublin in the All-Ireland competition. Full report and photo’s on the website. A Children Officer’s Information meeting will take place in Parnell Park on Thursday May 7th. It is compulsory that all clubs are represented on the night. All clubs must have a Children’s Officer appointed and present at the meeting. The meeting has been organised with the Ladies Gaelic Football Association. Important Notice – The u14 Leinster final originally fixed for 9th/10th May has been re-scheduled to Saturday May 23rd . Venue yet to be decided. The Leinster u12 blitz takes place in Carlow on Monday 1st June.
