Congratulations to the Jackies on ensuring qualification for the knock-out stages of the Bord Gais Energy National League with two games in hand. Full report on the www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie

The Jackies have two very important home fixtures to play in the Bord Gais Energy National League against the current league and All-Ireland champions, Cork on next Sunday, 1st March, and Clare on the 15th. All clubs are asked to make an extra special effort to ensure that we have a large attendance in Naomh Mearnóg to support the team on both occasions as they seek to qualify in pole position for the quarterfinal draw.

A decision has yet to be made on the most suitable date for Féile Atha Cliath. Details will be posted on the website  when a decision is made.

27 referees attended an Updated Referees course on Thursday last in Parnell Park. Well done to the two presenters, Eileen Jones and Tonya Allen who gave a very worthwhile presentation and kept all and sundry on their toes. The 2009 Dublin fixtures should be all the better for it.
