DONEGAL LADIES G.A.A. NOTES

The end of the season is here with some underage competitions yet to be completed.The U12B final took place at Burt at the weekend between St. Eunans and Muff in a thrilling encounter in which the Letterkenny girls shaded it in the end by a single point. Score St. Eunans 3-5. Muff 3-4.
The U16a semi final between Termon and Naomh Conaill was a rather one sided affair as the Termon Girls had it all too easy and coasted home to Termon 6-10 Naomh Conaill,2-4. They will find it much more difficult in the final when they meet Moville .In the 16b Milford and St Michaels met in a match refixed after the first game was abandoned.This was ladies football at its best with two sides playing fluid running football and very tight defending on both sides .It was a game for the neutrals to enjoy and sore on the heart for the supporters of the two participants.The Match was drawn on several
occasions and only settled in extra time with goal to the visitors and a point to the home team .Final score Milford 2-8 St. Michaels 3-7.
