Our Senior ladies travel to Mountmellick on Sunday to meet Laois in the first round of the Senior League. Dominick will have to work with a smaller squad at this time of the year with quite a number following their education in the U.K. I have no doubt the girls will give it their best shot to get their season off to a good start. Kenny Griffin has sorted out his U16 squad with almost all of last years panel still in contention with some very good additions from last years u14 panel.The panel is as follows Niamh Mailey, Fiona Allen, Laura Guthrie, Aoife Mc Laughlin, Convoy, Tanya Kennedy, Emma Mc Grory ,Robert Emmets, Dearbhalla Mc Neill, Anna Rafferty, Aodh Ruadh, Kate Keeney ,Four Masters, Ciara Grant , Catherine Boyle ,St. Eunans, Niamh Mc Laughlin , Mairead Walsh, Orla Furlong ,Moville, Kayla Farren, Georgina Gordon , Urris, Geraldine Mc Laughlin ,Niamh Mc Laughlin, Petra Mc Cafferty,Termon, Lorraine Molloy, Alana Mc Donald, Naomh Conaill,Caoimhe Barrett, Aoife Gallagher, Milford, Maria Carr , Marion Doherty, Mary Bridget O’Donnell, St. Michaels, Lauren Jones, Kelly Carr, Naomh Columba, Anne Marie Logue Glenfin, Aisling Mc Callion, Muff. The Minors, U16’s U14’s are all training together in Drumboe on Mondays and Wednesdays and the Seniors on Wednesday,this should only enhance the skills and performances of all the players involved. On a visit there tonight there were almost ninety players training in very heavy rain so that is dedication in the truest sense. The Donegal Ladies mare presenting a show in the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny on Monday 16th March doors open at 9pm, tickets €10 and a dance to follow for those enthuastic enough to stick the pace.
