Donegal welcome Armagh in only TESCO NFL Fixture

 

Donegal and Armagh will meet in the only TESCO NFL match that takes place this weekend but it promises to be a memorable match. Both teams are tipped as potential outsiders for All Ireland glory later in the year and they are amongst the favourites to claim Division 2 glory in May.

This Round 1 fixture was originally supposed to be played two weeks ago but the weather ensured that we would have to wait for this Sunday at 3pm in Glenfin to see this much anticipated action.

There will be a lot of interest in this match as there are stars on either team. Many will be looking to the Termon contingent on the Donegal team to see if the confidence generated by their All Ireland Club Final win will translate itself onto the County panel. Armagh looked very sharp as they easily accounted for Westmeath last weekend and this is a Westmeath side that are also challengers for the Divisional crown.
