Crokes play a big role in Underdogs victory The Underdogs ladies left it left late last night before securing a win a 2 point win against the New York allstars on a scoreline of 1-11 to 2-6. Dr Crokes Laura Buckley struck for the travelling side’s only goal in injury to cap a fine display as Kerry’s only representataive on the side chipped in with 1-3 of her side’s tally at a game played in Gaelic Park in New York which marked the Ladies side’s first ever game overseas. Laura is a 21 year old nurse in Cork and earlier that day her brother Johnny helped Dr Crokes retain their O’Donoghue Cup East Kerry title with a facile victory over Rathmore. Share this Article 0 0
