GAELIC FOOTBALL COACHING SEMINAR: A Gaelic Football Coaching Seminar will take place on Sunday the 23rd of March in Innisfails G.A.A, Balgriffin. The Course tutors will be Dublin Ladies Senior manager, Mick Bohan and renowned Gaelic football coach from Armagh, John Morrison. The seminar will run from 10.00am to 5.00pm numbers will be limited to 35 currently only seven places remain unfilled. The entry fee to the seminar is E100.00. The coaching seminar themes are: 1. Games for Better Team Play. 2. How to use S.A.Q equipment in Gaelic Games 3. Exercises to make our Games Better Lunch will be provided along with a coaching manual, the Dublin Ladies senior Football team will demonstrate the various exercises / drills. DUBLIN PLAYERS OF THE MATCH: Dublin senior players Mary Nevin (Na Fianna) and Orla Smith (Ballyboden St Endas) were named Players of the Match last Sunday for their superb performances for Dublin v’s Donegal in the Suzuki National League. The players receive a pair of PUMA football boots courtesy of PUMA IRL. The Dublin Senior football team would like to thank Gerry Hamilton for his continued support. CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to Sile Nic Coitir who was named as Ballyboden St Endas “Player of the Year” at the clubs presentation night last Friday. Also honoured were Sorcha Timmons “Most Improved Player of the Year”, Sarah Denvir was named as “Young Player of the Year”. Raheny Ladies football team also held their presentation last Friday night; Aishling Hayes was named as “Player of the Year” with Erica Farrell being named as “Most Improved Player of the Year”. UCD WIN AGAIN: Congratulations to UCD ladies football team for winning the All Ireland league for a second year in a row. DUBLIN UNDER-14’S PLAY MAYO! The Dublin under -14 A & B teams will play Mayo in a challenge game this coming Saturday in Lucan Sarsfields G.A.A club. Throw in for these games will be 1.00pm and 2.15pm.
