DUBLIN LADIES BOARD NOTES

The Annual General meeting of the Dublin Ladies County Board will
take place on Tuesday November 20th 2007 in Aras Atha Cliath Parnell
Park at 7.30pm Sharp. All clubs are asked to ensure their delegates
are in attendance Can any clubs who still have trophies from the
2006 season or any information regarding trophies please contact

Congrats to Foxrock/Cabinteely who have reached the VHI Healthcare
All Ireland Junior Club final with a comprehensive victory over
Latton from Monaghan A terrific achievement in by all involved.
Details of the finals have yet to be announced and will be posted
in due course. Hard luck to Ballyboden St Endas who were beaten
by Mayo Champions Carnacon in the VHI Healthcare All Ireland Senior
Semi Final on Saturday last.

Our Dublin under 14 and under 16 teams were honoured at a presentation
night in CLG Na Fianna were both teams received their Leinster winners
Medals and our under 14 team received their coveted All Ireland
winners medals. Well done again to all involved your county is proud
of you. Special thanks to Na Fianna for hosting the event and their
kind hospitality and to Geraldine Giles President of the Ladies
Gaelic Association and Helen O’Rourke CEO of the Ladies Gaelic Association
and Paul Caffrey And Gerry McGill Dublin Seniors Mens and Ladies
managers respectively for attending on this special occasion to
honour Dublin’s young footballers
