DLGFA – Weekly Notes 16th November 2009 Congratulations to Cliodhna O Connor, Siobhan McGrath and Sinead Aherne on winning All Stars at the annual awards night held in City West on Saturday last. It was a fitting return for a successful year’s work by the Jackies. All three players made significant contributions to Dublin’s cause during the year. It’s Cliodhna’s second award while it’s a first for Siobhan and Sinead. Our Annual Dinner Dance takes in the Red Cow Moran’s Hotel on Friday 20th November at 8pm. Tickets are available at €50. On the night the Dublin All-Ireland Junior Championship winning side of 1989 will be honoured as will Dublin’s first ever All Star, Kathleen Kennedy. Come along and support. DLGFA AGM will take place in Parnell Park at 8pm on Tuesday 24th November. It will be preceded by the County Board meeting which will start at 7.15pm.
