Dublin Ladies Notes: All Clubs have by now received the TEAM ENTRY FORMS for the 2005 playing season, the forms must be returned to Patricia Monahan on or before Monday the 7th of February. A draft copy of the proposed fixtures and gradings will be available for the February County Committee meeting (15th Feb) with the finalised fixture plan to be formally ratified at the March County Committee meeting (15th March). Rules and regulations for the Juvenile and Adult competitions where passed at the January County Committee meeting, please ensure that all club mentors and officials are fully versed on the 2005 rules and regulations. Due to the increase in our playing numbers the Dublin Ladies Board require approx 100 referees per week therefore clubs have been requested to provide at least two NEW referees for this season. Applications forms are available from all clubs and the County Secretary. A referees coaching course will be held in early March, venue, date and time TBC. Transfer forms must be completed in duplicate and all sections signed by the appropriate people and posted to Patricia Monahan on or before an Executive Committee meeting (1st Tuesday of every month). Forms can be downloaded from www.ladiesgaelic.ie Player Regrading forms have been distributed to clubs with clubs permitted 5 regradings per season, ALL regrading requests must be submitted prior to the FEBRUARY County Committee meeting. Clubs who are looking to obtain permission for guest players must seek written approval from the County Board for ALL grades along with a letter from the players registered club. A FUNdamentals coaching course will take place on Saturday the 26th of February from 10.00am in Naomh Mearnog GAA club, Portmarnock. The Suzuki Ladies National league recommences next weekend with the Second team playing Offaly away on Sunday the 30th of January. Trials will take place on Saturday the 5th of February for the Dublin Junior team. Clubs will be notified of the venue and time, clubs will also be emailed player registration forms which are to be returned before the trial date. The ONEILLS Dublin Ladies Annual Awards night (black tie) will take place on Friday the 11th of March in the Castleknock Hotel and Country Club commencing at 7.00pm.
