Ladies National Football League Dublin A 1-9 Roscommon
0-12 A last minute point from Mary Nevin clinched
a draw for Dublin A in the Suzuki Ladies National
Football League which now puts them to 5 points
on the League table.

This was a very close encounter, which could have
gone either way. Sinead Ahernes’ well-taken goal
in the 22nd minute put Dublin back in the game,
they went in at half time one point ahead. Early
in the second half Dublin extended their lead
with a point from Fiona Corcoran. Roscommon took
the next 3 points without reply. Dublin responded
with another point and it was tit for tat until
the final whistle. In the end a draw was a fair

Dublin A plays Tyrone at home next Sunday.

Dublin B have continued their success in the Suzuki
Ladies National Football League beating Tipperary
by a point in what was a very competitive match
Played at Naomh Mearnog, Portmarnock on Sunday.
Dublin B plays Waterford at home next Sunday.

Leighlinbridge, Carlow was the venue for the Dublin
C Teams match against Carlow on Sunday. Unfortunately
the girls lost this closely fought match. They
play Wicklow next Sunday 27th February 2005 at
