Dublin Ladies Football County Board Raise the Bar on Coaching To date the Dublin Ladies Football County Board has run 7 FUNdamental Foundation Coaching Courses over the last 3 years, all of which have received huge endorsement from attendees, on both the standard of content and the delivery of same. Attendees have included managers and coaches of county teams, senior club teams, juvenile teams and GPO thus the calibre of the endorsements received. Having completed the course and put in practice all you learned from it, we now want to Raise the Bar for you to the next level. The next level up from FUNdamentals Foundation is Level One called Raising the Bar and is made up of 7 Units as follows: Unit one: Player Pathway Unit two: Role of Coach Unit three: Paper to Practice Unit four: Rules Unit five: Physical fitness Unit six: Nutrition Unit seven: Practical The course is developed to challenge existing coaches to look more in depth at coaching principles and practices to solve coaching scenarios in practical situations. All course participants must be 18 years or over, have completed the Fundamentals Foundation Course and must have at least 1 years coaching experience. As this course is a level higher and delves deeper into each area it requires 2 days to deliver and can only cater for a maximum of 20 attendees per course. On that basis we plan to run it over the last two Saturdays in April (venue to be confirmed) and it will be a first come first served bases with places only secured when payment has been received. Places will not be held without payment. The course will be run from 10 – 6 on both Saturdays with lunch served. The cost is 80 pp. Closing date for receipt of entries (along with payment) is Friday March 23rd.
