DUBLIN LADIES UPDATE

The next County Board meeting will take place in Aras Atha Cliath, Parnell Park on Tuesday May 20th at 7.30pm sharp. ALL clubs are asked to ensure that their delegates are present on the night without exception as there is a very important agenda.
The new Dublin Ladies Football website is now available to view at www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie This is a trial run for the site and we look forward to positive feed back. We hope to officially launch the site shortly The Everbuild Feille Atha Cliath took place over the weekend and was a huge success and enjoyed by all involved.With 23 teams taking part a great weekend was anticipated and the girls served up some cracking games of football all played in a great sprit and sporting manner a credit to their mentors and clubs.Congrats to Ballyboden St Endas who won the Division One title and to Kilmacud Crokes who won the Division 2 hounours.
The Dublin County Executive would like to thank our host clubs Ballyboden St Endas, Kilmacud Crokes and St Sylvester’s for providing their facilities and generous hospitality over the weekend. A big thank you to all the organizing committees, volounters,co-ordinators and special mention to all our referees for the high standards they set which helped make this a Feille weekend to be proud of. We would also like to again thank Matt O’Dell of Everbuild for his kind sponsorship of the competition.
Special mention to Niamh Barrett (Kilmacud Crokes) who did a terrific job of refereeing her first Division One Final.
Well Done to our Minor ladies team who had a comprehensive victory over Meath in the Leinster Semi-Final in a match played as a curtain raiser for the Dublin V Westmeath match last Saturday in Navan.After a tight first half the Dubs showed their class winning out 1-22 to 1-6
