DUBLIN LADIES UPDATE

DUBLIN LADIES UPDATE

The next County Board meeting will take place in Aras Atha Cliath, Parnell Park on Tuesday June 17th at 7.30pm sharp. ALL clubs are asked to ensure that their delegates are present on the night without exception as there is a very important agenda.
The Dublin County Executive would like to express our Deepest Sympathies to Nicola and Lisa Murphy their Family, friends and all at Croi Ro Naofa on their recent sad loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
The final Grab Your Whistle course of the season will take place shortly. This is a 3 day course starting on Saturday 28th June and continuing on Saturday 5th and 26th July. Participants must be 16 years or over and they will be eligible to referee up to under 14 inter county level.
These new participants will be ‘buddied’ with current referees in the county who will guide and support them through their training.
It is important that all clubs educate a number of referees as they are an essential resource for every club. If anyone is interested in participating on this course you can contact Lyn Savage, Dublin Regional Games Development Officer – 0871316944 or lynsavage@ladiesgaelic.ie . Alternatively you can download the course registration form from the development section of the site and return along with the €20 deposit. This deposit will be returned on completion of the course. This will be the final ‘Grab Your Whistle’ course available free to clubs so it is advised to avail of this.
