Dubs go out to All-Ireland Champions Suzuki Ladies National Football League Quarter-Final Dublin A 2-10 Galway A 3-9 After their defeat by Galway in last years All-Ireland final Dublin Ladies headed to Castledaly with a changed team all fired up for their encounter with the All-Ireland Champions. This was a close contest with some good football from both sides in the first half resulting in a half time score-line of Galway 1-6 Dublin 0-5. Galway dominated the first 15 mins of the second half scoring 2-3 to Dublin’s 0-2. However, Dublin finished very strong with 2 great goals from Karen Hopkins. This was a gripping game from start to finish and the only difference between the 2 teams was M. Delaney’s goal for Galway in the 26th minute. Although Dublin are disappointed not to have progressed to the League semi-final they have put in some great performances in this league campaign and will now concentrate their efforts on preparing for their first Championship match against Meath in early May.
