World Games

58 teams from right around the globe will play in the tournament that will be hosted at the University College of Dublin with the action getting underway on Tuesday, August 12th at 9:30am.

The finals of this competition will be played at Croke Park on Friday, August 12th in what is an additional source of encouragement for all of the teams that will be taking part.

Ladies Gaelic Football will be playing a huge part in the proceedings as 17 teams will take part in the competition. The 17 teams will be split into 2 competitions, one for Irish born players and one for native born players.

The Ladies Football action will get underway on Tuesday, August 9th when the Irish born teams from Asia, Australia, the Middle East, New York, Abu Dhabi and Britain get the action underway in a round robin tournament. The Top 3 from each group will then go into the Cup competition with the bottom two from each group going into the cup competition.

It will be a similar structure for the Native born players competition as the two European teams will join France, Glaicia, the Middle East, New York, South Africa and Canada Western in two groups with the top 2 from each group going into the Cup competition and the bottom 2 going into the Shield competition.

Friday the 12th of August will see the finals of the competitions taking place in Croke Park which will be an amazing occasion.
