Fairplay to publish ‘Official’ Ladies GAA magazine

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association and The Fairplay
Group, publishers of Fairplay sport and leisure
Magazine, Ireland’s premier magazine for women
in sport and leisure, have announced that Fairplay
will produce and publish an ‘Official’ bi-monthly
Ladies Gaelic Football Magazine beginning with the
first Issue in January 2004.

Speaking on behalf of the Fairplay Group, Marketing
Director, Catherine O’Hara, said she was “delighted
to be working with the Ladies Gaelic Football Association
to further promote the sport and its image not only
in Ireland, but further a field.

” The President of the Ladies Football Association
Geraldine Giles expressed her delight that an official
ladies football magazine would soon be in publication,
to further promote the ladies game and extend communication
of the sport and ancillary activities to a greater
audience from the players to the public in general.
