SKILLS COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS: 15 Cones, 3 Officials (1
at start gate, 1 at 13 metre line and 1 at 20 metre line). Four
size footballs, Stopwatch for Official at start gate. Cones to be
1 metre apart: 5 metres from the start line (45 metres). Gates A,
B & C to be 1 metre wide and start gate, 2 metres wide.

STEP 1: Players start with ball in hand at start gate, on
the whistle solos through cones using right foot only and goes through
Gate A and scores a point before reaching 13 metre line.

STEP 2: Player returns to start, picks up a football (crouch
lift for boys and pick up for girls) and solos with left foot only,
through cones and through Gate C and puts the ball over the bar
with left foot before the 13 metre line.

STEP 3:
Player returns to start, picks up a third football (crouch
lift for boys and pick up for girls), solos through the cones with
preferred foot and goes through Gate B, continues soloing and puts
the ball over the bar with the fist from 8 metres out.

STEP 4: Player returns to start point and picks up a fourth
football, (crouch lift for boys and pick up for girls) solos through
cones and scores a point before reaching the 20 metre line. Player
returns to start gate, watch stopped as the player crosses the 45
metre line. In Step 1, 2, 3 and 4 the player must not bounce the
ball in the solo In Step 2, 3 and 4 the player must go around the
cone on return to the start point

PENALTY POINTS: Players lose points for the following offences:
Any breach of the rules (ie illegal pick up, over-carrying, bouncing
the ball, fouling the ball or any technical foul).

PENALTY – 5 seconds added onto the time. Other penalties
((ie missing a cone, not going around the cone at the 45 metre line,
crossing the line before taking a score (13 metre or 20 metre line)
or soloing or scoring with wrong foot)).

PENALTY – 5 seconds added onto time. Missing a score

PENALTY – 10 seconds added to time. The player with the lowest
time is declared the winner. In the event of two players being level
on time, a re-run will take place to decide a winner.
