Fermanagh Presentation Evening Fermanagh Ladies County Board hosted a very successful presentation evening Thursday 8th March in the Scout Hall Enniskillen. This evening was organised to show recognition to all players who played for the county in 2006. Three out of the four county teams reached their respective Ulster finals in 2006. A large crowd was in attendance with special presentations made to former Fermanagh Chairman Joe McGurn and former Fermanagh ladies chair Geraldine McGovern for their years of services to Fermanagh football. Irvinestown club man Paddy Scallon was made an honorary president of the association. Players from the u14, u16, minor and senior panels was present along with special guests newly elected Ulster president Gerry Doherty, Ulster Administrator Mary Keegan, Fermanagh men’s Chairman Peter Carty. A special word of thanks was extended to Fermanagh Ladies sponsor Michael McCabe and wife Teresa of M.G McCabe Building Contractor, Aughadrumsee, for their continued support over the last number of years and also for the season ahead. There was also the unveiling of the newly sponsored Irish News Fermanagh junior championship cup by Ulster President Gerry Doherty.
