Fermanagh Ladies v Down Ladies

Fermanagh ladies take on Down ladies this coming Sunday at Aghadrumsee at 14.00hrs in the last round of the Bord Gáis Energy Division 2 National League. Fermanagh are entering this game on the back of a number of disappointing results. Fermanagh has suffered as a result of a number or players being unavailable for the league and injury but the management have been happy with the improvement that the new players to the panel have been making as the season progresses. Down have recorded two victories so far against Cavan and Meath and also suffered a defeat at the hands at a very good Longford outfit last Sunday.

Down would have to be viewed as favorites going into this game given their status as a senior team and their results thus far, but the Fermanagh girls will want to show that they are an improving side, and are a team, that on their day can put it up to the best sides. Fermanagh have a small panel for the League campaign and must wait on the fitness of a number of players who are involved in at least two games this week with their respective Colleges.
