Cork v Armagh was postponed due to weather

 

As it stands Dublin, Kerry, Armagh and Galway are all level on 12 points. Should Cork beat Armagh in their refixed match they too will be on 12 points. In this eventuality the finishing positions will be decided by score difference. Score difference will be determined by a team’s ‘scores for’ minus ‘scores against’ excluding the match against the team that finished bottom; Tyrone.  The final positioning of Dublin, Armagh, Cork, Galway and Kerry will be confirmed after the refixed Cork v Armagh match. Tyrone have been relegated from Division 1 for 2017.

Donegal finished top of the table. Westmeath, Clare and Cavan all finished level on 15 points. Their order of finishing is decided by their score difference excluding the score against the team that finished bottom of the table; Sligo. Donegal will now play Cavan in the Lidl Division 2 Semi Final as Cavan finished in 4^th position with Westmeath playing Clare and both of these matches will be played on the weekend of April 23/24^th. Sligo and Meath finished level on 3 points at the bottom of the table, they will now play a Relegation play-off match to decide who will be relegated to Division 3, this match will be played on April 17^th at a neutral venue.

Waterford qualify in 1^st place with Tipperary qualifying in second place.  As Wexford, Leitrim and Roscommon all finished level on 12 points their positioning is determined by score difference excluding the result against the team that finished bottom of the table; Fermanagh. Waterford will play 4^th placed Leitrim with Tipperary playing 3^rd placed Wexford. Fermanagh have been relegated.
