THE Provincial Club Championships are hotting up – with key games down for decision in Connacht, Leinster and Munster over the coming days, including a Leinster Junior quarter-final this evening (Tuesday). Over the weekend, there is Junior, Intermediate and Senior Championship action in all three of the provinces. The Ulster Championships are currently on hold – and will be reviewed on October 12. In Munster, Banner Ladies (Clare) and Cahir (Tipperary) meet on Friday evening for a Senior semi-final slot, while there’s a huge game in the Connacht Senior Championship on Saturday, when holders Kilkerrin-Clonberne (Galway) tackle old rivals Carnacon (Mayo). In Leinster, Dublin outfit Foxrock-Cabinteely are chasing a sixth successive provincial senior title – and they put their crown on the line against Meath opponents Dunboyne on Sunday.
