Indeed Cork’s approach is very much in line with that Cumann Peil Gael na mBan nationally where focus is being put on the appointment of four full time regional development officers; the training of more coaches, referees and a restructuring of competitions.

Much of the success that Cork are enjoying at both underage and adult intercounty levels is based on the philosophy of the schools of excellence & summer camps where young girls are coached at a very early age in the basic skills of the game thus ensuring a solid foundation for later development. The final course takes place at CIT on April 15th
