GAELIC 4 GIRLS LAUNCHED IN DERRY CITY On Wednesday of this week Helen Quigley, Mayor of Derry City launched the Gaelic 4 Girls Programme which begins this Saturday in St Brigid’s College on the Glengalliagh Road. The programme which runs from 12-1.30pm each Saturday is aimed at 8-14yr old girls from across the city and focuses on the skills of the game by coaching the girls in a circuit style session, and with the coaches involved all fully qualified in Ladies Gaelic Football FUNdamentals the quality of coaching is sure to be excellent. The programme runs for 6 weeks with a blitz on the final week where the girls will be able to show off their newly found skills in mini games.
