Gaelic for Girls National Blitz Day Competition Winner announced

At the National Gaelic4Girls Blitz Day held in Croke Park on the 23th July, a competition was launched for the girls with an opportunity to win a signed County All-Stars jersey. Lauren Shanagher (9yrs) from Kilmacumsey, Co. Roscommon was the lucky winner selected at random.

Lauren, who attends Abbeycarrton National School, participated in the Gaelic4Girls programme at the Elphin site. The fantastic prize will be presented to Lauren at Croke Park at the All Ireland Finals on October 7th. Lauren  is now looking forward to her second appearance at Croke Park having enjoyed the opportunity of playing at the famous venue and meeting her heroes in July.
