Conahy Shamrocks are one of the longer running Gaelic4Mothers teams in the LGFA. From Kilkenny they have led the way in terms of enthusiasm for the Gaelic4Mothers initiative. They have participated in a number of blitzes and always approach Gaelic4Mothers events with the right attitude – i.e. lets have a bit of fun! Their appearance on TV3s Ireland AM was in conjunction with the Bord Gáis Energy Book Club. Bord Gáis Energy are the title sponsor of the LGFA National League, Manger of the Month and Teams of the League. They have started an online book club which has proven to be very popular. As many people don’t have time to attend a book club each week this online version makes being part of a book club very easy. Conahy Shamrocks Gaelic4Mothers were approached to be the first official Gaelic4Mothers team to start a Bord Gáis Energy book club.
