Galway's Barna to host 1st Connacht Junior 7 aside

Barna to host the Connaught Junior 7- aside

On
the 17th of September Barna Ladies GAA are hosting the first ever
Connaught Junior Ladies 7 aside football tournament. The games
will be held in both Barna and Furbo football pitches from 10am
that morning. The tournament final will be held in Barna Pitch
that afternoon.

There are twelve teams from all over connaught taking part in
this the inaugural running of this event. The weekend plans to
be more than just football for all taking part. On the Saturday
night Barna Ladies GAA have organised a night for all involved,players,
managers and supporters alike in the Clybaun Hotel. There will
be a dinner followed by a disco. During the dinner the ’12 Pins
Cup” will be presented to the winning team.

tournament and the much sought after “12 Pins Cup” is proudly
sponsored by Stephen Harris of Harmack Developments. Gay O’Brien
Chairman of Barna GAA would like to express his sincere thanks
to Harmack Developments and also Neachtain Bus for providing a
courtesy Bus for the teams on the day.

The tournament is promised to be full of fun for all the family
so come along and support your teams. Play begins on Saturday
at 10.00 am.
