Get on Your Bike To Croke Park!!!

The largest female sporting event of the year takes place at Croke Park on September 24th when the  TG4 Ladies All Ireland Football Finals take place. On the same day the 3rd annual Great Dublin Bike Ride takes place around Dublin ending in Smithfield, just a stones throw from the TG4 All Ireland Finals.

This is a great opportunity for Ladies Gaelic Football fans to take part in a great, active event before taking the short journey over to Croke Park to cheer on their county at the TG4 All Ireland Finals.

The TG4 Junior All Ireland Final between Fermanagh and Derry throws in at 11:45pm and is followed by the meeting of Tipperary and Tyrone in the TG4 Intermediate Championship. The highly anticipated TG4 Senior All Ireland Championship Final between Dublin and Mayo will then get underway at 4pm giving cyclists plenty of time to take their seat at this fantastic fixture.

2016 saw a record breaking attendance come to Croke Park for the TG4 All Ireland Finals as 34,500 came through the turnstiles and hopes are high that number can be again eclipsed.

The Great Dublin Bike Ride offers two unique scenic routes; a 60km route for those looking for a slightly less strenuous day in the saddle and a challenging 100km route for experienced riders. Up to 6,000 cyclists are expected to leave Smithfield at 8am on the 24th of September, cyclists will travel out past the historic Four Courts, then onto the North Wall Quays and the environs of Dublin. All entrants will receive a sporting Great Dublin Bike Ride tech top, bespoke medal and goodie bag. There will be three feed stations available for riders as well as medical & mechanical support and two service stations, along the route.
