The Cork Institute of Technology Ladies Football Club would
like to thank all who helped to make this weekend a great
success. We would especially like to mention the following:
God for providing us with two beautiful days of Sunshine
Cumann Peil na Mban for their support in ensuring that we
had top class referee’s, medals and trophies for the event,
and for providing the Jersey’s for the All Star Team Geraldine
Giles For travelling from Dublin on Sunday to spend the
day with us, presenting the Cups and giving some inspirational
words of encouragement

The HEC and especially Karen Grogan and Ciara Cregan who
gave us full support in running this event and without whose
help there would be no football played at 3rd level Marie
Halvie from the Munster Council who acted as an all star
selector for the weekend Fr Liam Kelleher who despite his
busy schedule turn up to take photos and moral support The
Referee’s Michael O Keeffe, Richard O Connor, Tony Lennon
and Gerry Guinion who did a great job officiating in the
13 games played at the weekend The Colleges Club Officals
for there support in supplying the information for the programme
and for the manner in which they cooperated fully with the
organising committee

The Players for playing their hearts out ensuring that the
quality of games played were to the highest standard and
in the spirit of how football should be played And finally
to the various departments within CIT, especially the Grounds
Men, Caretakers, Canteen Staff, Sports Office, Students
Services, GAA Office, Physio, St John’s Ambulance and by
no means least the Players and Officials of the CIT GAA
Club who volunteered their time and energy and thus ensuring
that everything went according to plan….(Plan…what Plan?)…Thanks
a million.
