We would especially like to mention the following: God for providing us with two beautiful days of Sunshine Cumann Peil na Mban for their support in ensuring that we had top class referee’s, medals and trophies for the event, and for providing the Jersey’s for the All Star Team Geraldine Giles For travelling from Dublin on Sunday to spend the day with us, presenting the Cups and giving some inspirational words of encouragement The HEC and especially Karen Grogan and Ciara Cregan who gave us full support in running this event and without whose help there would be no football played at 3rd level Marie Halvie from the Munster Council who acted as an all star selector for the weekend Fr Liam Kelleher who despite his busy schedule turn up to take photos and moral support The Referee’s Michael O Keeffe, Richard O Connor, Tony Lennon and Gerry Guinion who did a great job officiating in the 13 games played at the weekend The Colleges Club Officals for there support in supplying the information for the programme and for the manner in which they cooperated fully with the organising committee The Players for playing their hearts out ensuring that the quality of games played were to the highest standard and in the spirit of how football should be played And finally to the various departments within CIT, especially the Grounds Men, Caretakers, Canteen Staff, Sports Office, Students Services, GAA Office, Physio, St John’s Ambulance and by no means least the Players and Officials of the CIT GAA Club who volunteered their time and energy and thus ensuring that everything went according to plan .(Plan what Plan?)
