Final Chance: Interested in Becoming an LGFA Referee Education Tutor!

Armagh v Waterford - TESCO Ladies National Football League Division 3 Final

TODAY IS THE CLOSING DATE!

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association are delighted to announce details of our 2014 Referee Tutor Training Programme.

Please find included below documentation that will provide you with details of our tutor recruitment and training programme. These documents will provide clarity regarding the significance of the role and ensure that minimum standards are in place across the LGFA Tutor group at all times.

Our tutors play a major role within our Association in the delivery of our referee education programme. Tutoring is a very rewarding experience and provides personnel with the opportunity to influence and shape so many of our current and future referees which in turn raise standards of refereeing at all levels.

There are a maximum of 2 referee tutor positions available for 2014. All potential candidates have to do is:

  • Be aware of the commitment required to become an LGFA qualified referee tutor (See Tutor Training Pathway)
  • Meet the minimum criteria (See role description)
  • Submit a two page CV
  • Submit an Application Form (See below) by Friday 4th July

A panel selected by the LGFA will review the applications in line with the role description and will allocate places accordingly. Following selection by the panel, all applicants will be informed of the outcome within two weeks of the closing date.

We would be grateful if you could forward same onto all clubs or anyone you feel may have an interest in this area.
